Privacy Policy
At Merikh, protecting information means protecting the people, organizations, and operations behind it.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and the confidential business and factory information entrusted to us. Customer-specific commitments may also be defined in a separate written agreement. Where that agreement provides more specific protection, it will take precedence.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide when you contact us, request a demonstration, create an account, communicate with our team, or use the Merikh Product. This may include your name, business contact details, company, role, account information, communications, and basic website or service usage information.
When working with a Customer, Merikh may also process business, operational, or factory information that the Customer has authorized us to access. The scope of that information is determined by the applicable agreement.
2. How We Use Information
We use information only as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, provide and support the Merikh Product, maintain security and reliability, communicate important updates, and meet contractual or legal obligations.
We do not use Customer information for unrelated purposes.
3. Confidentiality of Customer and Factory Information
Customer and factory information remains under the ownership or control of the Customer, as defined in the applicable agreement. Merikh treats non-public business and industrial information as confidential, whether or not it is considered personal information under applicable law.
Access is limited to authorized people who need the information to provide or support the agreed services. We do not sell Customer information, disclose one Customer’s confidential information to another, or publish Customer names, results, images, or project details without authorization.
4. AI and Customer Information
Where the Merikh Product uses AI-assisted capabilities, Customer information is processed only for the functions authorized by the Customer and within the agreed scope.
Merikh will not use a Customer’s identifiable confidential information to train general-purpose or shared AI models without the Customer’s prior written authorization.
6. Security and Retention
Merikh applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Personal information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary. Customer information is retained, returned, exported, or deleted according to the applicable agreement and legal requirements. No digital system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and Customers remain responsible for security within their own environments.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to certain uses of it. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
If your information was provided through your employer or another Customer organization, we may refer the request to that organization where it is responsible for the information.
9. Third-Party Services and International Processing
The Merikh Product may rely on or connect with third-party services governed by their own privacy practices. Where information is processed across borders, appropriate safeguards will be applied as required by the applicable agreement and law.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, practices, or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published with its effective date.
